First
you will witness the drive passing the hustling and bustling China Town.
Watch such vibrant area and hectic lives of the people in China Town before
going through another interesting spot, the Pak Klong Talad or the
local flower market. You will see many colorful shops and stalls
selling flowers, food and fruits. Later you will pass by the
Reclining Buddha Temple, the Emerald Buddha Temple & the Grand Palace, the
Ministry of Defense, the City Pillar and the Pramane Ground, where
many royal ceremonies were arranged, the Earth Goddess or Phra Mae Toranee
statue, Rachadamnoen Avenue, Democracy Monument,
Jessadabordin
Ground, the Golden Mount Temple, Various official governmental offices and
ministries including non-profit organization before arriving at the
Anantasamakhom Thorne Hall, which appears as a homage to the Italian
Renaissance. At the Royal Plaza, which is the spacious square in
front of the Throne Hall, there is a equestrian statue of our beloved King
Chulalongkorn, the great or King Rama V. The Throne Hall, once
was the seat of parliament but is now known as the National Assembly and
used for state ceremonial occasions. It was designed by an Italian
team led by Annibale Rigotti, who saw it as a part of a harmonic whole with
nearby Dusit Park and the many canals in the area.
Here at the Anantasamakhom Thorne Hall, one of the prestigious events to celebrate the auspicious occasion of 60th anniversary of HM the King's accession to the throne and 80th birthday anniversary organized by Foundation for the Promotion of Supplementary Occupations & Related Technique (SUPPORT) of HM the Queen is the 5th Arts of the Kingdom" Exhibition. It will be open for display from Friday May 2nd, 2008 onward, except Monday and national holidays.

Pick-up at the hotel. Board the coach and begin the tour or the inner part of the old city wall of Bangkok, "the city of angel".
Your drive will first pass the illuminated Grand Palace & the City Hall can also be a great spot for a brief photo stop. Continue the journey to Hessadabordin Ground, also known as the City Pavilion. This square is the prefect location for some photo opportunities of Bangkok inner city. After such photo stop, we shall then pass Bowonniwet Temple, the famous Khao Sarn area among back packers, Ratchadamnoen STREET (Champ Elysee Avenue of Thailand), Monument of Democracy, House of Parliament, and Anantasamakhom Thorne Hall, where you stop for a visit and will also have the rare opportunity to see various grandeur "5th arts of the Kingdom", the finest Thai artistry and crafts.
